Deborah Hyatt: BA(Hon) Contemporary Textile Practice: University of Wales Institute, Cardiff: First Class Honours. I have a strong passion for drawing and mark making. I approach design in an experimental way, drawing from a range of different influences to hopefully produce fresh and innovative work. Of late my work has been greatly influenced by the illustrator Margaret Jones and Rob Ryan. My final degree show was directed at illustrative cut outs for a stationary collection experimenting with different materials such as acrylic that can be laser cut.
